The G3 is the ultimate hunting knife. EKA has developed a very smart system to make two fixed knives into one with the G3 . Half of the blade with a total length of 19.1 cm disappears into the handle. Both halves have their own purpose. The part with the normal blade-shape can be used as any other knife. The other half of the blade is ideal for removing the pelts of hunted wildlife.

The rotation mechanism runs very smoothly. You press the release button and you can turn the blade smoothly. Further rotation is not possible due to the smart design. So heavy use is not a problem at all.

The supplied nylon sheath obviously looks like a sheath for a fixed knife. The G3 fits into the sheath in both positions. Even though it is not likely the knife will fall out of the sheath, an extra belt with push button completely removes the risk of loss. With the firm belt clip you can wear the sheath to your belt perfectly.

The handle is made of a type of plastic EKA calls Proflex. It is similar to Kraton. A synthetic and soft replacement for natural rubber. Also under wet circumstances it provides optimum grip.
